X-Energy is a key label to understand how italo disco was so sucessful. Established in 82 by Alvaro Ugolini and Dario Raimondi (both Djs), they knew how to imprint their experience on the dancefloor to the music they produced together with Ivana Spagna (vocalist) and mostly Larry Pignagnoli on the composition. Following the I Love Mixes series, volume 9 is a tribute to the label , including the original Mixenergy Medleys (1984) mixed by Marco Trani and Mario Tagliaferri, a new megamix by the dutch Dj Marc Hartman and all the tracks in its extended version + Remixes.
