The original demo of “Butterfly In Paradise” was recorded in 1983 at the Master 33 Studio in Cremona (owned by Giulio Quarenghi). Ottavio Bacciocchi was the sound engineer. Paradiso Gilioli played all the instruments: Simmons drum, Prophet 5, Yamaha DX7, Elka Syntex and Minimoog. At the time there weren’t computers and all the sequences were synchronized with MSQ 700 Roland. The female voice on the demo belongs to Rossana Beggiato and Gilioli sang the back vocals. Tiziana Rivale wrote the lyrics.
Unfortunately the original demo tape no longer had the needed quality and the song had to be re-recorded. The remake has been made under the close supervision of Gilioli. The amazingly similar sound engineering is made by Juan Segundo, choosing the same equipment that was used in the original demo recording.
